8. ಆ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಗಳು ದಂಡಿನ ಅಂಚಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಬಂದು ಒಂದು ಡೇರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟರು; ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಡೇರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟರು.
