20. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡ ವನಾಗಿ ಬದಲಿ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅವನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ತಿಂದನು.
