20. ಆಗ ಅವಳ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ --ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನೋ? ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯೇ, ಈಗ ಮೌನ ವಾಗಿರು; ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನು; ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತಾಮಾರಳು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಟಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.
