22. ಆಗ ಯೋವಾಬನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅರಸ ನಿಗೆ ವಂದಿಸಿದನು. ಯೋವಾಬನು--ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ದಯೆದೊರಕಿತೆಂಬದು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು ಅಂದನು.
