24. ಸೌಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆಫೀಬೋಶೆತನು ಅರಸ ನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬಂದನು. ಅರಸನು ಹೋದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಅವನು ಮರಳಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಬರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ತನ್ನ ಗಡ್ಡವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
