16. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪೌಲನು ತನಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದರೆ ಪಂಚಾಶತ್ತಮದ ದಿವಸ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವಸರ ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಆಸ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವಾಗಿ ಎಫೆಸವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
