3. ಆಗ ಪೌಲನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಸುಣ್ಣಾ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಗೋಡೆಯೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುವನು; ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡು ತ್ತೀಯೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
