16. ನಾವು ರೋಮ್‌ಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರ ನಾಯಕನಿಗೆ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ದನು; ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪೌಲನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಇರಬಹುದೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿದನು.
