42. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿ ಆಕಾಶದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಣ ವನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವದೇನಂದರೆ-- ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ನೀವು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರೆ
