9. ಆದರೆ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಸೀಮೋನ ನೆಂಬವನೊಬ್ಬನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಏನೋ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಂತ್ರ ತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆರ ಗನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
