24. ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆ ಚ್ಚರನು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನಾಗಾರರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ನಾವು ಮೂವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದೆ ವಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ಹೌದು, ಸತ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
