20. ಗವಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದಾಗ ದುಃಖದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದನು; ಅರಸನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ--ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಓ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೇ, ನೀನು ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಿಂಹಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಸಮರ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆಯೇ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
