23. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾದೇಶ್‌ ಬರ್ನೇಯದಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಾಗ--ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದು ಆತನನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
