7. ಆಗ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈ ತನಗೆ ಆದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಹಾಮಾನನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅರಸನ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲು ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಣ ವನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.
