8. ಅರಸನು ಅರ ಮನೆಯ ತೋಟದಿಂದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಔತಣ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಹಾಮಾನನು ಎಸ್ತೇರಳು ಕುಳಿತಿರುವ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು--ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವನು ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡು ವನೋ ಅಂದನು. ಆ ಮಾತು ಅರಸನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಾಗ ಸೇವಕರು ಹಾಮಾನನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು.
