14. ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು--ಹಾ! ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗ ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೂ ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಸತ್ತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ಹರಿದು ಚೂರು ಚೂರಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ವಾದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದೆನು.
