6. ಎಜ್ರನು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಮುಂದಿ ನಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬಿನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಹಾ ನಾನನ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರ ಅಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದುಃಖಿಸಿದನು.
