16. ಅಗ ಶೆಷ್ಬಚ್ಚರನು ಬಂದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಸಿ ದನು. ಆ ದಿವಸದಿಂದ ಇದು ವರೆಗೂ ಅದು ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪ ಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಇನ್ನೂ ಮುಗಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
