9. ಆಗ ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ಇಸಾಕ ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು--ಅಗೋ, ಆಕೆಯು ಖಂಡಿತ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು--ಆಕೆಯು ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿ ಎಂದು ಯಾಕೆ ಹೇಳಿದಿ ಅಂದನು. ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಆಕೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸಾಯಬಾರ ದೆಂದು ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು ಅಂದನು.
