13. ಆದರೆ ಬರವು ಅತಿ ಘೋರವಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವೂ ಕಾನಾನ್ದೇಶವೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾದವು.
