12. ಅವರು ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಜಾಡ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
