18. ರೇಕಾಬ್ಯರ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಾದ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಅವನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ,
