34. ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಸತ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇವೆಯ ಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದಿ, ಆದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದುಃಖವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದಿ, ಆದರೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹೊಂದಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಡೆಗಿಂತ ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
