17. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಚದರಿಹೋದ ಕುರಿಯಾಗಿ ದ್ದನು; ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು; ಮೊದಲು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಈ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
