16. ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ನೋಡಿರಿ; ಮೊದಲಿನ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಎಲ್ಲಿದೆಯೋ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕು ವದು ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು--ನಾವು ನಡೆ ಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
