6. ನಾನು ಕಿವಿ ಗೊಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು, ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾವನಾದರೂ--ನಾನು ಎಂಥಾ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪ ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಕುದುರೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ರಭಸವಾಗಿ ಓಡುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊ ಬ್ಬನೂ ತನ್ನ ದಾರಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
