12. ಆದರೆ ಕೂಲಿಯವನು ಕುರುಬನಲ್ಲವಾದದ ರಿಂದಲೂ ಕುರಿಗಳು ತನ್ನವುಗಳಲ್ಲವಾದದರಿಂದಲೂ ತೋಳ ಬರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆಗ ತೋಳವು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
