10. ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ--ದೇವರ ದಾನವೇನೆಂಬದೂ ಮತ್ತು--ನನಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾತನು ಯಾರೆಂಬದೂ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿ, ಆತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಜೀವಕರವಾದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
