26. ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಈ ಯೆರಿಕೋ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಶಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ; ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವನು, ತನ್ನ ಕೊನೆಯ ಮಗನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
