2. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಳು. ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೊಡ್ಡವರಾದಾಗ ಅವರು ಯೆಫ್ತಾಹನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಪರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಮಗನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
