27. ಆಗ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಆ ಊರಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿ ದನು.
