5. ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಜಲದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನಿಗೆನಾಯಿ ನೆಕ್ಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಜಲವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ನೆಕ್ಕುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊಣ ಕಾಲೂರಿ ಬೊಗ್ಗುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸು ಅಂದನು.
