48. ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಚಲ್ಮೊನ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಲಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಒಂದು ಮರದ ಕೊಂಬೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಗಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಕೂಡ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
