17. ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ತನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಕನಿಕರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
