5. ಕರ್ತನು ಶತ್ರುವಿನಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ಅವನ ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಆತನು ಅವನ ಭದ್ರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮಗಳ ದುಃಖವನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಲಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
