8. ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೌರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಪಾಳೆಯ ದೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಡೇರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಕಾಯಬೇಕು.
