9. ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅದರಿಂದ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾದ ಆಹಾರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಡಬೇಕು: ಅದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಿ ರುವದು.
