34. ಓ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ,ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯುವವಳೇ, ಕೋಳಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಾರಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೆನು; ಆದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಅದು ಮನಸ್ಸಿ
