7. ಆಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟ ಮಾಡು ವವನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಮೂರು ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ಈ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಲ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಒಂದನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇದನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಹಾಕು; ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಇದು ಯಾಕೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
