24. ಅವನು--ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾ ಮನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಲಾಜರನು ತನ್ನ ತುದಿಬೆರಳನ್ನು ನೀರಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದಿ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಣ್ಣಗೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಈ ಉರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾತನೆಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
