13. ಕೂಡಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಆಗ ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮಗಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಹಂದಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡವು; ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಗುಂಪು ಉಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿ ಇಳಿಜಾರಿನಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರದೊಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಉಸುರುಗಟ್ಟಿ ಸತ್ತವು. (ಅವು ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಇದ್ದವು.)
