17. ಯಾಕಂ ದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಹೆರೋದ್ಯಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಹೆರೋದನು ತಾನೇ ಯೋಹಾನನನ್ನು ಕರೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ವಿವಾಹ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
