17. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಹಳೇ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಹಾಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಅವು ಒಡೆದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿಹೋಗಿ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗುವವು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾ ರಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವರು; ಆಗ ಅವೆರಡೂ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿರುವವು ಅಂದನು.
