17. (ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ತಂದೆ ಯಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ) ದೇವರು ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸುವವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ದ್ದನ್ನು ಇರುವದಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯುವವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾ ನೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ನಂಬಿದನು.
