12. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿ ತೋರಿದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಬಳವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿರಿ, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಬಿಡಿರಿ ಅಂದೆನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಬಳಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೂವತ್ತು ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೂಕಮಾಡಿದರು.
