Quam ob rem tulit Ioas rex Iudae omnia sanctificata, quae consecraverant Iosaphat et Ioram et Ochozias patres eius reges Iudae, et quae ipse obtulerat, et universum aurum, quod inveniri potuit in thesauris templi Domini et in palatio regis, misitque Hazaeli regi Syriae; et recessit ab Ierusalem.
