4. Elatus autem ira arbitrabatur se etiam iniuriam illorum, qui se fugaverant, in Iudaeos retorquere; ideoque iussit, ut auriga sine intermissione iter perficeret, caelesti iam eum comitante iudicio. Ita enim superbe locutus erat: “ Congeriem sepulcri Iudaeorum Hierosolymam faciam, cum venero illo ”.
