3. Et respondit populus: “ Non exibis. Sive enim fugerimus, non magnopere ad eos de nobis pertinebit; et si media pars ceciderit e nobis, non satis curabunt, sed tu unus pro decem milibus computaris. Melius est igitur, ut sis nobis ex urbe praesidio ”.
