12. Vyras atsakė Joabui: ‘‘Jei duotum ir tūkstantį sidabrinių, nepakelčiau savo rankos prieš karaliaus sūnų; juk karalius mums girdint įsakė tau, Abišajui ir Itajui: ‘Kas bebūtų, saugokite mano sūnų Abšalomą’.
