24. Un tanī dienā Israēla vīri ļoti nogura, jo Sauls bija uzlicis tautai lāstu, sacīdams: "Nolādēts tas vīrs, kas ko ēdīs, pirms nāks vakars un iekāms es nebūšu atriebies saviem ienaidniekiem!" Un tā neviens no viņiem neaiztika ēdamo.
